Welcome to Oakside Open Space
In these challenging times it is great to have a little open space right on your doorstep. A place to recharge your batteries, have a bit of family time, enjoy nature and reflect.
Once a derelict site covered in brambles and weeds Oakside Open Space has been transformed into a green space to embrace.
We really wanted to have an Oakside Open Space Grand Opening but due to the Coronavirus Pandemic it sadly wasn’t possible. So we have set up this page just for you, Oakside residents, instead.
Oakside Open Space Creation
With funding support from Heritage Lottery Fund, Buckinghamshire Council, and LHC the Groundwork South Team managed the installation of new fencing and entrance gate, clearing the land of bramble, weeds and litter (thank you, Coca Cola volunteers for your litter picking efforts), laid a new all-weather buggy and mobility vehicle friendly path and installed a bench to be enjoyed by the residents to Oakside.
