This Colne Valley Festival Fortnight Event will be a guided walk of Staines Moor.
Meet us on Moor Lane for a walk around one of the Colne Valley’s real hidden gems. Staines Moor is an ancient and beautiful landscape home to a variety of interesting species. On this walk you’ll learn a bit about the history of the site and hopefully be able to spot some of the fascinating wildlife that lives here.
All welcome although rough ground and a longish walk may make it unsuitable for very young children.

Meeting location and parking information: Meet at the entrance on Moor Lane, TW18 4YY – Limited on-street parking along Moor Lane, please car share where possible.
Distance: 2.5 miles/4 km
Level: moderate, some uneven ground. Wear sturdy shoes
Children friendly – no dogs.
