Take a tour of Roger the historic working canal boat and see for yourself what it would have been like working and living on one of these barges in the late 1800’s early 1900’s.
Discover what it was like to live on a narrowboat as a Victorian. Narrowboat ‘Roger’ is visting Denham Country Park. Pop down to the Grand Union Canal near Denham Lock to take a tour and learn about life on the canal. No booking required.
Roger will be moored near Denham Deep Lock on the Grand Union Canal on Sat 30th July and Sunday 31st July from 11am-4pm.
You can easily walk to the canal from Denham Country Park or it is a 40 minute pleasant stroll along the canal from the Swan and Bottle in Uxbridge.
