Church Gardens in Harefield describe themselves as a family restoration project.
A hidden gem situated on the outskirts of Harefield village. The walled gardens have been drawn back from the brink of dereliction by Kay and Patrick McHugh, who first discovered them in 1995. For over 25 years, the family have devoted all of their spare time to restoring the gardens, resulting in an inspiring transformation which is now accessible to the public on Sunday afternoons during the gardening season.
OPENING TIMES
The gardens are open to the public on Sunday afternoons, 12-5pm, from April 7th to October 20th. The gardens are also open on Bank Holiday Mondays 11am- 5pm.
A chance to explore the gardens with family and friends. Garden visitors have access to the ARCADIA Tea Room with cakes & drinks served throughout the afternoon, light lunches served 12-3pm & pre-booked afternoon teas served 3-5pm. Weekly Garden Talk with Kay at 2:30pm.
