Here at the Colne Valley Park, we are keen to introduce people to all areas and rural aspects of the park and that is why every month we will be sharing local rural events across your Regional Park.

Post Christmas Colne Valley Bird Walk– organised by Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust. Stretch your legs after Christmas and explore the Colne Valley with Mid-Herts Local Group. A winter wetland bird walk, followed by an optional pub lunch. Santa Cruise with Arthur Daily Trips – Father Christmas will be visiting with gifts for the children and the Arthur (boat) will be decorated beautifully. Chiltern Open Air Museum – Traditional Christmas. Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December A special Christmas event. Come and find out about how Christmas was celebrated in the past. At this special Christmas event the Museum’s historic buildings will be decorated traditionally for Christmas and brought to life by costumed characters. Friends of Langley Park Handbell Ringers will be performing at San Remo Café in Black Park on Thursday the 19th December 11.30 and from 11.00 Black Park Shed will have a stall selling some of their products, which are handcrafted, using reclaimed wood and will include some Christmas items. https://www.facebook.com/denhamcountrypark/
