It will explore the botanical world of Harmondsworth Moor and is being led by Dr Nicholas Ferguson, Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Art of Kingston University and an ecologist. They will delve into the extraordinary wealth of plants that lie beneath the routine operations of Heathrow airport. You’ll hear about their representation in folklore, magic, medicine, cooking and craft, and ongoing importance for science today.
