Join us at Iver Mudwharfs for the Floating Pennywort removal event!
Are you passionate about preserving our local waterways? Come on down to Iver Mudwharfs on Tuesday the 26th of March at 10:00 AM and help us remove the invasive Floating Pennywort plant from our beautiful river. This plant can cause huge problems, driving local wildlife population declines, increasing flood risk and preventing recreational activities. Removing it is the best way to control infestations and stop the spread of this plant, so please get involved if you can!
This hands-on event is a great way to get involved in environmental conservation efforts while enjoying the outdoors and meeting like-minded individuals. No experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
