Recommended for children 5 years old and over.
Why volunteer with your family? Volunteering can provide a healthy boost to your self-confidence, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. You are doing good for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishment.
The session will take place at Hardings Row Nature Reserve in Iver. The session will involve conservation activities which will be discussed and decided upon by the group at the start of the session.
At the end of the session we will investigate what lives in the pond on site. Will it be a healthy pond or unhealthy one? Learn about how we can understand if the pond is healthy or not by looking at what lives in it!
Join us for some fresh air, hard work and good company and help make a positive impact on this precious green space.
Please wear clothing suitable for working outdoors, i.e. stuff which may get muddy/wet, long trousers and sturdy footwear. If you have them, please bring your own gloves. All tools provided.
You can also bring your own picnic blanket and lunch to enjoy after your hard work.
