This Colne Valley Festival Fortnight Event will be an excellent opportunity to see the fascinating exhibits from the Harrow and Hillingdon Geology society and hear a talk from Geology expert Haydon Bailey.

Location: Denham Country Park/Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre- Garden Room
Talk on how the Chiltern hills were formed and when the river Thames flowed through Denham by Dr. Haydon W. Bailey, Geological Adviser- The Chiltern Society, Member of Harrow and Hillingdon Geological Society and Chairman of Hertfordshire Geological Society. Plus exhibition by the Harrow and Hillingdon Geology Society of hands-on rock and fossil specimens and posters
