Cattle graze a number of sites in the Colne Valley Regional Park in order to benefit wildlife conservation and increase the diversity of its meadows. Here you will have an opportunity to meet the farmer that owns these cattle, along with meeting the animals themselves, and learn all about why we do this and the benefits it brings to the valley. The farmer is on hand to answer any questions you may have about conservation grazing and farming in general. Child friendly – although farming practices practices might be discussed (i.e. cows becoming food).
All welcome. See below for how to book.
