Landscape Camera

In 1982 a photographic survey record was made of the entire area of the Colne Valley Regional Park by visiting every map reference grid intersection. This project aims to repeat this exercise in order to record how the landscape is changing.

There are many activities taking place to involve individuals and communities who care about the Park. In particular, there is a 2 year program of family activities scheduled to raise awareness of the project to engage communities throughout the Colne Valley to learn about its heritage features and discover their own landscape views and special places.

Funded by the National Lottery through 'Sharing Heritage'.
