Volunteer – Community Participation
Around 40,000 people live in the Colne Valley Park, and more than three million live within ten miles of it.
We are committed to promoting community participation through volunteering, organising educational programmes, leading walks, and running conservation work parties etc.
If you have some spare time, want to learn new skills or share talents of your own there are plenty of volunteer opportunities in the Colne Valley Regional Park. Come along and get involved with a variety of important conservation tasks to help us look after the Park. See positions below for more details.
Corporate Volunteering
Are you looking for corporate volunteer opportunities? Is your company interested in helping preserve and protect your local countryside both for wildlife and people? Then you have come to the right place. We can organise volunteer days out for your company, and we have loads of exciting outdoor work available; river work, controlling invasive species, litter picking, woodland management to encourage biodiversity and more.
