How to get involved with the variety of activities of Colne Valley Regional Park.

a group of the 'friends'Join the Friends of the Colne Valley Park to help make the Colne Valley a greener and more enjoyable place in which to live, work and play.

Based at the Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre in Denham Country Park, the Friends are involved in walks, talks, childrens events, bazaars and the Colne Valley Festival - all intended to increase awareness and encourage enjoyment of the Colne Valley Park.

Find out about what is happening in the Colne Valley Park and your community.  

Invitations to special events and guided walks

Friends will be sent the quarterly walks and events guide (otherwise available in local libraries and the Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre) and can take advantage of a free tea or coffee on most walks.  Recent walks have included a cream tea at St Peter’s Church.

The chance to make a difference and become more involved in YOUR local area

Get involved in volunteering events with Groundwork Thames Valley, help the Friends arrange their annual Colne Valley Festival and find out about major issues affecting your local countryside.

Do you love living in or visiting the Colne Valley Parks beautiful countryside? Then we need your help to make it the best it can be, for people and for wildlife. Join the Colne Valley Park Conservation Volunteers and undertake practical work, wildlife surveying or site wardening and help make a difference.

 

 

At Arthur Jacobs and Poyle Poplars Woodland in Horton, Harding’s Row in Iver and Caps Wood and Northmoor Hill in Denham.

Every second weekend of the month and alternate Wednesdays.
